Kent L. Koehn, 67, of McPherson, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was currently working at Cartridge King and had previously worked at Alumax, both of McPherson.
He was born on July 31, 1945, in McPherson, KS, the son of Roy James and Evelyn (Becker) Koehn. He graduated from McPherson High School in 1965. He completed accounting courses at Salt City Business College.
Kent had served on the Friendship Meals Board, volunteered at the McPherson Senior Center, and also enjoyed being a ham radio operator.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Evelyn Koehn, brother, Kurt James Koehn, and sister-in-law, Donna G. Koehn.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with David Clark officiating.
Burial will be at the Lone Tree Cemetery, rural Galva, KS.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
