Dorothy C. Hutchinson, 85, passed away October 6, 2012, in Salina. Dorothy was born September 17, 1927, in Salina to Earl and Mabel (Rand) Burton. She was a loyal volunteer for the Red Cross for 27 years and received several awards. She loved to sew, and spend time with her family, friends, the Red Cross family, and especially the classy ladies group.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bobby and son John R. Hutchinson in 2010.
She is survived by:

Steven of Salina
Daughter: Bari Stewart of New York
10 grandchildren
11 great-grandchildren
At her request, her body was donated to the University of Kansas Medical Center for the willed body program.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
