Phyllis (Verleta) Valcoure, age 83, died Wed., Nov. 14, 2012 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia. She was born on Nov. 4, 1929 in Dickens, NE to Maurice & Verna (Demilt) Fitch. Verleta graduated high school in North Platte, NE.
She married Eugene L. Valcoure on April 27, 1957 in McPherson, KS. He preceded her on Aug. 8, 1991.
She worked for 26 years as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell. Verleta was a member of the Catholic Church.
She is survived by:

Sisters: Maurine Miller, North Platte, NE

She was preceded in death by her husband, granddaughter, parents & brother, Merlin Fitch.
Funeral services will be at 10 am, Sat., Nov. 17 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Brinkman officiating.
Burial will follow at the St. Peters Cemetery, Aurora.
Visitation will be from 11 am to 9 pm with a Vigil service at 7 pm Friday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to Marquis Place or Cloud County Health Center in care of the funeral home.
