Vonley L. Davidson, 79, passed away Tuesday, December 4th, in Abilene. He was born October 9, 1933 in Industry, Kansas, the son of Arnold W. and Iris (Kreider) Davidson.
Growing up in Clay Center, he attended local schools and graduated from Clay Center High School. After high school, Vonley entered the Navy.
On October 4, 1953 he married Roberta M. Wiles in Clay Center. The early years of their married life was spent in Clay Center before moving to Abilene in 1956.
He had been employed by the Shadinger-Wilson Printing Company, the Reflector Chronicle and the Duckwall Alco Warehouse.
Roberta preceded him in death February 14, 2011. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ladonna Kretz and Gretta Johnson. He was a member of the Abilene First United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, December 8th, at the Abilene First United Methodist Church with Pastor Wayne Montgomery officiating.
Interment will follow in the Abilene Cemetery.
