“Former Governor Graves is a successful member of the Kansas Wesleyan Family and it will be an honor to have him speak at our commencement exercises,” said KWU President Fletcher M. Lamkin. “He is an inspiration to our entire University.”

Graves, a Salina native and 1976 graduate of Kansas Wesleyan University, was the 43rd Governor of Kansas, serving from 1995-2003. He has also served as the Kansas Secretary of State and is currently the president of the American Trucking Association. He resides in Virginia with his wife, Linda and has one daughter, Katy.
